This Spring’s Daily Detox

Why Detox Daily?
Would you brush your teeth or shower only once or twice a year? If your answer is no, then you probably wouldn’t want to cleanse the inside of your body only once or twice a year either.
Detoxing, or cleansing, is something we need to do everyday– just like brushing our teeth. Toxins that come in daily have got to come out daily. Otherwise they will be stored in our organs, bones and fat tissue, which can lead to an increased toxic body burden. Various types of symptoms and disease can occur once your burden reaches its threshold.
Issues you may think are normal like fatigue, weight gain, constipation, allergies, skin problems, moodiness, and brain fog can actually be signs of toxicity.–Dr Olic

The good news is that you can decrease your total toxic body load by detoxing daily. If you’re thinking starvation & deprivation, think again. A daily detox involves 1 detox  meal (or more if you’re feeling it) a day + 1 of my daily detox tips=a GORGEOUS, GLOWING you!

Again: the daily detox is as simple as including of one my detox meals & 1 of my detox tips into your routine on a regular basis.(All detox meals are carefully created & include gluten free, anti-inflammatory, easy to digest, nutrient-dense food.)

My clients always ask me what I do to stay slim, healthy, fit, happy–well, this is it! I include at least 1 detox meal into my day.  It’s easy, it’s energizing, & it enables me to live vibrantly!

I’ve learned that what you do everyday is so much more important than a big bang every once in a while. Give it a try–I think you’ll love it;)

This Spring’s Daily Detox Guide

Get started with one of my favorite detox smoothies:

Spring Forward

  • 1 c water or coconut water
  • 1 c frozen mango pieces
  • ½ c frozen berries
  • 1 c romaine lettuce
  • Handful of parsley
  • 2 tbl ground flax seeds
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • Couple ice cubes (optional)
  • Raw honey/stevia/dates to sweeten (optional)

Put ingredients in blender in the above order & blend well. If you don’t have a high speed blender, start on the low-end with the greens, & add in according to taste.
